Macardac began with a new baby and a quiet question — why did so little for the nursery feel as soft as it should? We started with one lounger, sewn by a small workshop, and grew slowly from there.

Today we make a small range of baby loungers and crib rail covers in quilted cotton, gentle fillings, and low-dye colors. Everything is finished by hand and tested against newborn skin — nothing harsh, nothing loud.

We design for the slow, repeating moments of early parenthood — the afternoon nap, the teething rail, the first time a baby settles into their own little nest.

Made slowly, in small batches, for the smallest people.
